MONTREUX MEDIA VENTURES APPOINTS MESIMVRIA AS PROGRAMMING SALES AGENT FOR CYPRUS AND GREECE
Montreux Media Ventures (MMV), the international media company and subsidiary of the Montreux Jazz Festival, continues to expand its global reach by appointing Mesimvria as exclusive programming sales agent in the region of Cyprus and Greece. Announced recently, Mesimvria will represent MMV for the sale of television and media partnerships.
Mesimvria is one of the leading media companies in the region of Greece and Cyprus, specializing in the pay-TV and branding media industries. Led by CEO George A. Xinaris, the company is active mainly in the areas of managing TV channels and TV rights for films, television series, documentaries, as well as providing channels commercial time sales, translation, subtitling and dubbing services.

Launch in December 2019, MMV was charged to evolve the Festival from an annual event and hospitality model to an international media company sustainable in itself. Its mission is to diversify the Festival’s exposure and revenues year-round by producing high quality content and developing tailor-made music experiences for clients, labels and brands.
Montreux Jazz Festival held annually on the Lake Geneva shoreline Switzerland, takes place this year from 03 – 18 July 2020. The festival attracts over 250,000 music lovers every year and has already announced Lenny Kravitz and Lionel Richie as confirmed headliners.
